Camp Mystery - cover

This is the book which explains all those frustrating references about Cecily Perowne's adventures in Switzerland in The Abbey Girls Play Up for this is the story of Cecily and how she comes to meet Rosalind and Maribel in Switzerland. (We have already met Maribel and Rosalind in Peggy and the Brotherhood).

This is therefore a very important Abbey connector, especially as later Maribel marries into the Abbey clan.

Betula O'Neill has written an extremely helpful introduction explaining the background to the book. Incredibly rare in both the two known editions, this is a must for all EJO fans.

Reviews

  • I just wanted to thank you for the splendid front and back matter to A Camp Mystery. This gave me everything I wanted to know (and didn't know that I wanted to know) about the book, where it fitted in to the various series, and most wonderfully about the textual differences between the different versions.
  • It was an absolute delight and I really appreciate the work that went into it from all concerned.

  • I wanted to say thank you for giving me so much more than I expected. I wasn't aware of the recently found Toby mags so all the extra drawings are such a bonus. As always, a job well done!
