When it was published in paperback by Armada, it had minor, frequent cuts - depriving us of much of the ‘essence’ of the book.
We are publishing Excitements now because it is 50 years after first publication, and because we have been able to include in it, as an extra introduction, some very exciting news about Elinor’s mother, who died in 1957, which was discovered by Camery Newton and has been written up for us by Helen McClelland.
