This is the final title in DFB's Nancy series. Set during World War II, we find Nancy doing 'war work' as organist of a church in Scotland and sharing lodgings with her friend Desdemona Blackett, who is working in a factory.
Not only are there the problems brought by being an organist in wartime, but there is Rosalind Blackett's twin sister, Celia, stuck in France since 1940, and whom Rosalind is determined to rescue .
