I want to know what titles are out of print by xxx and do you still have copies?
Please go to the Out of Print section and look under Complete List of Out of Print Titles. This will eventually give you a complete list of titles which are out of print, but please note that at the moment it is not complete. If you go to the dealers page, this will tell you which dealers still have copies of titles. Please note that GGBP do not stock out of print titles, though there are sometimes titles on the website which are still in print with a very few copies, but which are not in our catalogue. The Out of Print section will be added to again shortly – please see the News page for what has been added each day.
May I send you my manuscript for the children’s book I have written?
If you have written a fairy story, or a story about bunny rabbits, or something simply for very young children, then no, this is not something suitable for us. Please check the website carefully and look at the type of book we do. If you really think that you have written something for us, see below.
What is your policy on publishing new authors?
Non Fiction
If you have written something which is non fiction, and which does really fit the type of book we do, then please

and tell me what it is about, why it fits our list, and give me your qualifications for writing it. If it seems suitable, I shall ask you to e-mail a synopses and sample chapter. And if that seems good, then I shall put you in touch with an editor.
Chalet School fill in
If you have written a Chalet School fill in, then please

a synopses and sample chapter. This will be passed to our Chalet School editor, Ruth Jolly, who will in due course come back to you (Ruth has a very full schedule and this can take months). You will be a member of Friends of the Chalet School, and you will have probably written quite a lot for the Friends of the Chalet School magazine. You will also have read all the Chalet School fill ins which we have published.
Anything else
If you have written something else which you feel is really suitable, then please

Never, at any time, send anything to us for publication by post.
