The Chalet School moves to an island off the south west coast of Wales, following a problem with the drains at Plas Howell. We meet the Christie family and Kester Bellever. Annis Lovell’s rebellion nearly leads her to disaster. And of course Joey appears for much of the term.

Amy Fletcher has written an incredibly moving short story, ‘Margot’s Journey’ to go with this edition.
