It is with great regret that we have to announce the death of Helen McClelland on 12th November. Helen probably did more for the world of Elinor Brent-Dyer than anyone else by writing Elinor’s biography, Behind the Chalet School (now published by Bettany Press). For GGBP, Helen wrote introductions for Three Go, Excitements and Prefects, and was also the author of the highly acclaimed Summer’s Ending.
